Taking note of a circular issued in June, the aviation regulator said that it should be strictly followed. According to the order issued in June, face masks can be removed only in exceptional circumstances and if permission is given for any reason. Under the order, airports were asked to increase surveillance. Anyone without wearing a mask was to be stopped from entering. Appropriate hygiene measures including the provision of sanitizers at prominent places inside the airport were also advised.
In March, the rules of masks were relaxed in Delhi with the abolition of the fine of Rs 500 for rule violation. This decision was taken by the Delhi Disaster Management Authority after the continuously decreasing positivity rate of corona virus. After this, the masks stopped showing on the faces of the people on the streets. But in the last few weeks, cases of hospitalization and deaths of corona infected are increasing continuously. The number of hospitalizations in Delhi has increased by more than 60 percent since August 1. The positivity rate is 19.20 percent, which is the highest in 200 days.
Significantly, 9062 new cases of corona were registered in India in the 24 hours ended on Wednesday morning. Whereas on Tuesday, 8813 cases of corona were reported. In this context, an increase in corona cases was registered today. In the last 24 hours, 15,220 patients recovered from Corona. After which the number of people recovering from Corona reached 4,36,54,064. The number of active loads of corona in India is 1,05,058. At the same time active cases are 0.24%. While the recovery rate is currently 98.57 percent. In the last 24 hours, 3,64,038 tests of corona were conducted. After which the total test figure of corona reached 88.10 crores.
