With 16 teams, 29 days, and 45 matches, the cricket maniacs inside us are all ready for a booster dose of thrill as the T20 World Cup begins in Australia on Sunday. Right now there will be matches in the first round, in which the first encounter happened between Sri Lanka and Namibia in which Namibia emerged victorious by 55 runs.
The Netherlands team will face the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the second match of the day. In the first stage, the top two teams from Group A and Group B will qualify for the Super-12 stage. The Super-12 stage will begin on October 22 where defending champions Australia will face last-time runners-up New Zealand. The Indian team will start their campaign against Pakistan on 23 October.
