A suspected terrorist associated with ISIS, who is planning a blast on Independence Day, has been arrested from Azamgarh in UP. The accused was brought to the ATS headquarters for questioning. On scanning his mobile data, evidence was found that he was associated with AL-SAQR MEDIA, a telegram channel created by the banned terrorist organization ISIS to brainwash Muslim youths for terror and jihad. The accused Sabauddin is a member of the political party AIMIM.

It is learned that after connecting on Facebook with a person named Bilal, Bilal used to talk to Sabauddin about jihad and the action being taken on Mujahids in Kashmir. In talks, Bilal gave the number of Musa alias Khattab Kashmiri, who is a member of ISIS. The accused also started talking about him. Musa gave the number of ISIS's Abu Bakr al-Shami, which is currently in Syria, in relation to the plan to avenge the atrocities on the Mujahids in Kashmir.

Sabauddin created a mail id in the name of RRS for the purpose of targeting the members of RSS. He was working on a plan to target her by creating a Facebook account from her. Sabauddin Azmi alias Sabahuddin alias Sabahu alias Dilawar Khan alias Bairam Khan alias Azar son Zafar Azam is a resident of ward number 9 of Mehmudapura of Amillo Mubarakpur in Azamgarh district.

Illegal weapons have been found from the place mentioned by Sabauddin. One 315 bore, one cartridge, shouldering iron, two pieces of PVC wire, two white colored leads, one MCV, wire cutter, two testers, screwdriver, one mobile etc. have been recovered.
