Suspected IED recovered in Jammu and Kashmir's Sopore, bomb disposal squad reached the spot
A suspicious bag was found in Parimpora area. IED was suspected to be explosive in this bag, when police, CRPF and army squad searched this bag, urea and gas cylinders were found in it. However, they were destroyed for security reasons.

Suspected IED found in Tulibal area of Sopore in North Kashmir's Baramulla district. Sopore Police, 52RR and CRPF are on the spot. According to officials, a squad (Road Opening Party) of security forces at Tulibal in Sopore detected the IED planted by the terrorists on Tuesday morning. The Road Opening Party (ROP) carries out road safety checks during the passage of forces through militancy-affected areas. Officials said the bomb disposal squad was called to the spot to defuse the IED.
Even before this it has happened many times when terrorists planted IEDs. But alert security forces destroyed it before any untoward incident happened. Few days ago also IED explosive devices were detected and destroyed by a joint team of security forces including Army, Srinagar Police and CRPF in Parimpora area of Srinagar. A suspicious bag was found in Parimpora area. IED was suspected to be explosive in this bag, when police, CRPF and army squad searched this bag, urea and gas cylinders were found in it. However, they were destroyed for security reasons.
Earlier on October 19, Kupwara district, before this, explosives were also recovered in Bandipora area recently. Security forces recovered 18 kg IED from Ahstingo area of Bandipora Road. Bomb disposal squad was called to destroy the IED. Due to which a big accident was averted. The terrorists had planted this IED explosive to target the security forces, so that when the Indian soldiers passed through this path, it could be detonated.
