Supreme Court orders, now the district judge of Varanasi will hear the Gyanvapi case
The Supreme Court says that keeping in view the sensitivity of the matter, the case is transferred from Civil Judge Senior Division Varanasi to District Judge Varanasi.
The Supreme Court ordered the transfer of the Gyanvapi Masjid case to the District Judge, Varanasi. The Supreme Court has ordered that senior and experienced judicial officers of the Uttar Pradesh Judicial Service will hear the case.
In this regard, Hindu side's advocate Vishnu Jain says that the Supreme Court says that the matter will now be heard by District Judge Varanasi, till now Civil Judge Senior Division Varanasi was hearing it. Advocate Vishnu Shankar Jain on the Gyanvapi Masjid case says that the interim order of the Supreme Court dated May 17, the area which has been sealed where the Shivling has been found, will remain intact. Arrangements will be made for Wuzu.
Devotees gather outside Gyanvapi Masjid in Varanasi to offer Friday prayers. Earlier today, the Masjid Committee had appealed to the people to come to the mosque in small numbers due to the 'Vazukhana' being sealed.
