A judge, who was part of the bench that reprimanded Nupur Sharma, today made a strong remark about making personal attacks on the judges' decision. Justice JB Pardiwala said at a function, "Personal attacks on judges for their decisions lead to a dangerous scenario."

Nupur Sharma had demanded from the Supreme Court that all FIRs registered against her across the country should be clubbed together and transferred to Delhi. In his address during a function, Justice Pardiwala said, "Personal attacks on judges for their decisions lead to a dangerous scenario where judges have to think what the media thinks rather than what the law actually thinks." It harms the rule of law. Social and digital media mainly resort to expressing a personal opinion against judges instead of constructively critical evaluation of their decisions. It is harming the judicial institution and undermining its dignity. doing."
He said that there is a need to organize digital and social media throughout the country to maintain the rule of law under the Constitution.
