Supreme Court agrees to hear plea seeking alternative evaluation
The Supreme Court on Monday agreed to hear a request to cancel physical exams for grades 10 and 12 to be conducted by all state boards, CBSE, ICSE. Chief Justice of India N.V. Ramana agreed to the request for an immediate listing of the written petition.

The Supreme Court on Monday agreed to hear a request to cancel physical exams for grades 10 and 12 to be conducted by all state boards, CBSE, ICSE. Chief Justice of India N.V. Ramana agreed to the request for an immediate listing of the written petition. Registered lawyer Prashant Padmanabhan mentioned the petition for immediate insertion before CJI NV Ramana. The lawyer said: "It's related to class 10 and 12 exams. Physics lessons cannot take place due to the pandemic.
The students have turned to the Supreme Court to seek an intervention against the board exams which would be conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE), National Institute of Open Education (NIOS) and other state boards.
