Sujoy Ghosh Reveals Taapsee Pannu ‘Nearly Fainted’ Watching Amitabh Bachchan Rehearse 17 Times on Badla Set

Amitabh Bachchan was rehearsing for like 16th or 17th times on Badla Set.
Sujoy Ghosh Taapsee Pannu: Sujoy Ghosh worked together with Amitabh Bachchan again in the 2019 thriller film ‘Badla’ after his film 'Teen' which was released in 2016.
The film 'Badla' was Ghosh’s eighth movie and his fourth hit film. The film made a massive amount of around Rs 140 crore within a budget of Rs 20 crore.

The film also featured star actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu and Amrita Singh in lead roles.
In a chat with Mashable India, Sujoy Ghosh talked about a photo with Amitabh Bachchan from the Badla set.
He said that Amitabh Bachchan had a big impact on his life and recalled a scene from Sujoy Ghosh Badla behind-the-scenes where Bachchan was rehearsing for like 16th or 17th times.

He added everyone including Taapsee Pannu was tired but Amitabh Bachchan was full of energy and determined, Amitabh Bachchan Badla rehearsals went on 16th or 17th times until it was a perfect shoot. He admired Amitabh Bachchan work ethic.
When asked about how 'Badla' came to fruition, he said it was all possible because of Taapsee Pannu. He added that Pannu was the one who brought the script of the film to him but at first, he refused to direct it. Later on, Akshay and Sunil approached him with the same project.
Ghosh was ready to direct it but only on one condition that he could cast Amitabh Bachchan and change the script. As they accepted his condition, he took the project.
