Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Subramanian Swamy has given a big statement amid the ongoing controversy over Bollywood film 'The Kashmir Files'. Subramanian Swamy on Saturday said the then Prime Minister Vishwanath Pratap Singh and the then Union Home Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed were responsible for the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits from the Kashmir Valley and not the then Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah.
Speaking on the occasion of 'Navreh Milan', an inter-community cultural festival organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Peace Forum here, Swamy said that Muslims and Pandits are alike. There is some blood in them. If the DNA test is done, the result will be the same. Injustice has happened (with Kashmiri Pandits) The whole blame is being put on Farooq Abdullah, but it was done by VP Singh and Mufti (Mohammed) Sayeed. The Rajya Sabha member, however, said that he has not yet seen the film.
