From this academic year, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is conducting two-term board exams. Term 1 board exams for class 10 and 12 have been held in November-December. But both the result of term 1 board and date sheet for term 2 board exam are awaited.
In other schools, the January pre-board exam was to be conducted before the term 2 board exam. Many schools were going to conduct several pre-board examinations to prepare the students better. However, due to the increasing cases of Omicron and Corona, everyone's plan remained in limbo.
For the first time since March 2020, schools for all classes in Delhi were opened in November but those too were closed for two weeks due to air pollution. Schools were reopened from class 6 on 18 December but on 28 December when Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced a 'yellow' alert due to the increasing cases of corona, after which schools and educational institutions had to be closed.
