Congress today staged a massive protest in Bengaluru demanding the immediate arrest of BJP MLA Madal Virupakshappa after his name surfaced in a bribery scandal. Congress leaders and workers today protested in front of the party's Bengaluru district office, demanding immediate arrest of MLA Madal Virupakshappa and resignation of CM Basavaraj Bommai. During this, many Congress leaders including former CM Siddaramaiah were taken into custody by the police.
