The passengers had to bear the brunt of the negligence of SpiceJet Airlines at the Delhi airport. According to PTI sources, passengers have to walk on the tarmac to reach the terminal after the flight lands, while buses are arranged to take them to the terminal after the plane lands. The incident is from Terminal 3 of Delhi Airport. According to sources, passengers of SpiceJet's Hyderabad-Delhi flight had to wait for the bus for about 45 minutes after the flight landed, but when no bus arrived, the passengers walked from the tarmac to the terminal.

According to information received from sources, DGCA is investigating this incident. However, regarding this incident, SpiceJet says that there was a slight delay in the arrival of the buses. But after the bus arrived, all the passengers (including the passengers who had started walking on the tarmac) were taken to the terminal by putting them on the bus.

A statement issued by the airlines said that despite repeated requests from our staff, some passengers started walking towards the terminal. We did not allow any passenger to walk on the tarmac area of Delhi airport as such walking here could prove to be dangerous. A separate passage has been made for the movement of vehicles on the tarmac, so we put the passenger on the bus and dropped him till the terminal.

The DGCA had on July 6 issued a show-cause notice to the airline over at least eight incidents of technical snags in the aircraft. Meanwhile, reacting to the DGCA's order, SpiceJet said that it will operate as per the directions of the regulator. Will do The order will not affect the operation of our flights.

The aviation regulator, in its order, had said that in view of various site checks, inspections and response to the show cause notices submitted by SpiceJet, for the continued sustenance of safe and reliable transport service, SpiceJet's summer sanctioned flights will be The numbers are capped at 50 per cent for eight weeks. This is probably the strictest action against an airline in recent times. Eight incidents related to flight safety were recorded within 18 days.
