Special Features of Anti Mob Lynching Bill in Jharkhand

On December 21, the Hemant Soren government of Jharkhand passed the Prevention of Mob Violence and Mob Lynching Bill-2021 in the Assembly to prevent mob violence.

The purpose of this bill is to provide protection of constitutional rights in the state and prevent mob lynching.

The Anti Mob Lynching Bill was introduced by the state Parliamentary Affairs Minister Alamgir Alam in the assembly. He said the bill aims to provide security to the people, protect constitutional rights and prevent mob violence.
