Space regulator approves India's first private rocket launch on Nov 18
Space regulator Indian National Space Promotion and Authorization Center (IN-SPACE) said, “IN-SPACE has given permission for the launch of Skyroot Aerospace, a private Indian space start-up.
India's space regulator has approved the launch of Vikram-S, the first private sector rocket. Vikram-S is a sub-orbital vehicle developed by Skyroot Aerospace. Space regulator Indian National Space Promotion and Authorization Center (IN-SPACE) said, “IN-SPACE has given permission for the launch of Skyroot Aerospace, a private Indian space start-up.
It will launch the sub-orbital vehicle Vikram-S from ISRO's Satish Dhawan Center on November 18, 2022, between 11 am and 12 noon. Minister of State in the Prime Minister's Office Jitendra Singh will be present at Sriharikota to witness the launch of the first rocket developed by the private sector.
