South-West District of Delhi Police rescued four minors in 24 hours

Delhi Police is extremely sensitive and alert in matters related to children. Whenever any missing report is lodged, its officers leave no stone unturned to trace the child and unite with the family.

South-West District of Delhi Police rescued four minors in 24 hours

Delhi Police is extremely sensitive and alert in matters related to children. Whenever any missing report is lodged, its officers leave no stone unturned to trace the child and unite with the family.

In its special programme, Operation Satark, the Delhi Police gives safety and security of children an utmost priority and the staff of the southwest district has been specifically sensitized in this regard.

For tracing/recovery/rescue, the police personnel have been earmarked for the said purpose for the early recovery of the missing/kidnapped children as they become vulnerable.

In the last 24 hours, South West District has successfully traced and recovered 4 minor children in 3 different cases.

"A team of Vasant Kunj North Police Station consisting Sub Inspector Rajeshwar Parmar and Constable Mahesh, with the help of information based on CDR and local intelligence, traced a 17-year-old girl from village Tolakpur, Distt. Kasganj in Uttar Pradesh. She is the resident of Badayun in Uttar Pradesh, "Gaurav Sharma, DCP, South-West District, Delhi.

He added, "Investigation team of Palam Village Police Station comprising Assistant Sub Inspector, Roshan Lal with the help of technical surveillance traced two missing boys, aged 13 and 10 yrs. They are the resident of Palam Village, New Delhi.”

In the third case, the investigation team of Palam Village Police Station, comprising ASI Lal with the help of local intelligence traced another missing girl of 14 years of age.

All the children were reunited with their family members under operation MILAP.
