Sonia Rahul is also in ED's JD, political retaliation will start
The Congress president has been asked by the ED to appear on June 8, while Rahul Gandhi is believed to have been asked to appear earlier in the matter.

Several leaders have come under the radar of several central investigative agencies in the recent past. Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain was investigated by the ED and he is currently in custody. Now news is coming that Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi and former president Rahul Gandhi have to face the ED in the National Herald case. The possibility of a political war in this matter cannot be ruled out.
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Wednesday issued summons to Congress President Sonia Gandhi and party leader Rahul Gandhi for questioning in a case related to the newspaper National Herald.
The case was registered recently in connection with the probe into alleged financial irregularities in the party-backed 'Young Indian'. The newspaper belongs to National Herald, Young Indian Pvt Ltd. Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi are among the promoters and shareholders of Young Indian. On behalf of the Congress, this summons of ED has been described as a political weapon. It has been said that Congress will continue to talk about its work and public interest.
ED officials said the agency wants to record the statements of Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA). Officials said the ED wants to find out about the financial transactions, promoters of Young Indian and the role of AJL by questioning Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi and senior Congress leaders. The agency has registered a fresh case under criminal provisions of PMLA after a trial court here took cognizance of the Income Tax Department's investigation against Young Indian Pvt Ltd.
