Sonali Phogat Death Case: Goa CM to hand over Sonali Phogat murder case to CBI today

Goa CM Pramod Sawant will hand over Sonali Phogat's case to CBI today and will write a letter to the Home Minister regarding this. In this case, CM Sawant has said that Sonali's daughter and family have demanded a CBI inquiry. So today I will write a letter to the Home Minister and demand that this case be transferred to CBI.

In the case of BJP leader Sonali Phogat's death, where the main accused Sudhir Sangwan had confessed to his crime in Goa Police custody, on the other hand Sonali's family was not satisfied with the investigation of Goa Police. Sonali Phogat's nephew Vikas had said that we will go to the High Court to demand a CBI inquiry. A letter was also written to the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court in this regard. The accused Sudhir had admitted that Sonali was deliberately given an overdose of the drug and Sudhir had also confessed that he had taken Sukhwinder's help.

Sonali's family said that the Goa Police is passing its time and the Goa government is also not worried about the investigation. If the whole matter was seriously investigated, then the accused Sudhir would also have been brought by the Goa Police with them. All this is being done by Goa Police to mislead people. Sonali Phogat's nephew Vikas had given this information.

The family members had also met CM Manoharlal Khattar demanding a CBI probe. Several BJP leaders were also appealed, but the family members said that the matter was not investigated seriously.

Significantly, the accused Sudhir and Sukhwinder are in the custody of Goa Police. According to sources, Goa Police also said that sometimes criminals turn away in court, so Goa Police is collecting all the evidence from Goa to Haryana against both the arrested accused.
