Sonali Phogat case: 5 arrested so far including drug dealer, two cases registered
The police have so far questioned more than 25 people in this case, including restaurant staff and people from the resort where Phogat was staying. Apart from these, the staff and driver of the hospital where he was declared dead have also been questioned.
Another person has been arrested in Goa in connection with the alleged murder of BJP leader and Tik-Tok star Sonali Phogat. With this, a total of five people have been arrested in this case so far. A drug dealer was arrested on Saturday night for supplying drugs to another dealer who is accused of supplying drugs to Phogat's associates, news agency PTI quoted officials as saying.
Haryana BJP leader's aides Sudhir Sangwan and Sukhwinder Singh, who were arrested on Thursday, have been sent to 10-day police custody. Singh and Sagwan have been charged with murder, while the restaurant owner and drug dealer have been charged under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.
