Sonal And Bhavina Loses Their first match In Table Tennis, Both Will Play Again On Thursday In Tokyo Paralympics
In the first match, Sonalben Manubhai Patel lost to China’s Li Quan in a tightly fought match by 2-3 and Zhou Ying beat Bhavina Ben Patel 3-0. Tomorrow, Bhavina’s match will be at 9.30 am and Sonal will play at 5.10 pm.

Tokyo: Two Indians, Sonalben Manubhai Patel and Bhavina Ben Patel were in the fray in the Tokyo Paralympics 2020 on Wednesday, but unfortunately both lost their first matches in the Women’s Table Tennis event. Sonalben Manubhai Patel lost to China’s Li Quan in group D Class 3 category in a tightly fought match by 2-3 (11-9, 3-11, 17-15, 7-11 and 4-11). Sonal was ahead after the first three games but couldn’t keep the tempo going in the last two games and lost her first match to a better-ranked Li Quan. Bhavina Ben Patel in group A class 4 category lost to Zhou Ying 0-3( 3-11, 9-11, 2-11).
Now, on Thursday, both of them will play their second group match in the Women’s singles event. Bhavina’s match will be at 9.30 am and Sonal will play at 5.10 pm.
