Smriti Irani : PM Modi's dream of 'New India' coming true, youth taking charge

Enumerating the achievements of eight years of the Modi government, the Union Minister for Women and Child Development, Smriti Irani said that the dream of 'New India' and 'Young India' which Prime Minister Narendra Modi put into words on the pages of his diary in his youth, has come true today. It seems to be coming true. India is moving ahead strongly with new initiatives continuously. The way India has faced challenges under the leadership of PM Modi is praiseworthy in itself.

Union Minister Irani said in a conversation with reporters on Tuesday that in just eight years, India has been recognized as the fifth largest economy in the world. In the economic progress of the country, the youth have taken the lead under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi. He said that the Prime Minister has empowered the youth by implementing many schemes like Skill India, Startup India, Standup India, Make in India, Digital India, Mudra Yojana.

Make in India has given a new look to India. Fit India Movement has changed the picture of India and Digital India has strengthened the country's economy. Listing the achievements of the government, Smriti Irani said that India has emerged as the third largest ecosystem for startups globally with over 84400 recognized startups in 656 districts. The total valuation of Indian Unicom has reached USD 332.7 billion.

He also shared the statistics of achievements of Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana, Mudra Yojana, Product Link Incentive Yojana, Garib Kalyan Yojana etc. Referring to the new education policy, she said that this new policy assures the youth that the country is now completely with them, with their spirits. Similarly, the Modi government has done a lot of work in the field of sports as well. Youth are getting more opportunities than before to move forward in this field. The result of this encouragement is that India has performed the best ever in the Olympic, Paralympic and Commonwealth Games.
