Sidhu Musewala murder case: One arrested for supplying arms to Lawrence Bishnoi

The National Investigation Agency has arrested Mohd Shahbaz Ansari alias Shahzad on charges of supplying arms and ammunition to Lawrence Bishnoi. An official said that these weapons were used in the murder of famous Punjabi singer Sidhu Musewala.
As per reports, this is the ninth arrest in the Sidhu Moosewala murder case. The NIA had earlier arrested eight people from different parts of the country in this case. National Investigation Agency (NIA) arrested Mohd Shahbaz in a case relating to conspiracy hatched by members of criminal syndicates based in India and abroad to raise funds, recruit youth for carrying out terrorist activities in different parts of the country.
The official said that the criminal gang members have committed heinous crimes including target killings with an intention to create panic in the minds of the public. It may be noted that initially the case was registered at Lodhi Colony Police Station Special Cell in Delhi. Later the investigation of the case was taken over by the NIA. The NIA had earlier searched Shahbaz Ansari's house on November 18. During this, the team seized several incriminating documents, illegally acquired property papers, digital devices and a Star-brand pistol. Further investigation is on in the matter.
Significantly, Sidhu Musewala was murdered on May 29. The news of Sidhu Musewala's demise shook the entire industry. About two hours after the death of Sidhu Musewala, Goldie Brar of the Lawrence gang took responsibility for the murder.
