It has been a sigh of relief for Shweta Tiwari after a dreadful time she suffered. Finally, she had been granted custody of her son. Recently, the Bombay High Court granted Shweta Tiwari custody of her son Reyansh, as per the press report. However, Shweta's estranged husband Abhinav Kohli has been given visitation rights. Reportedly, Shweta and Abhinav have in a deadlock regarding the custody battle for their son for several months now.
The report further mentioned that Abhinav has been given permission to speak to Reyansh for 30 minutes every day over video conference and visit him for two hours over the weekends. When our team went on to get a statement to Abhinav, he agreed and stated, "The news is true. It's a huge relief for me as I have been fighting the custody battle for months. I haven't met my son for 11 months, so I am ecstatic to finally be able to see him. This is just the beginning and there’s a long way to go.”
However, according to the court reports, this is not a custody settlement as the court said that the custody battle has to be taken up at the family court. Abhinav added, "I wish I could meet my son everyday. This is not a victory for me, it is Reyansh's victory. He has won between Shweta and my fight." However, Shweta's point of view was unreported, as she is currently admitted in the hospital. We wish her a speedy recovery and pray Reyansh has a happy childhood.
