Shraddha Walkar's bones were cut with a saw, revealed in post mortem analysis
There is an allegation of keeping them in and throwing them in different parts of the city for several days. The case of Walker's murder came to light when the Delhi Police arrested Poonawala on 12 November 2022 on the complaint of Shraddha Walker's father.

The Delhi Police got the post-mortem analysis (analysis) done of 23 bones of Shraddha Walkar. The post-mortem analysis took place at AIIMS on Tuesday. Post-mortem analysis revealed that the bones had been cut with a saw. Delhi Police can file a charge sheet in the Saket court in the last week of January.
Earlier on January 10, Delhi's Saket Court extended the judicial custody of Aftab Poonawalla, accused in the Shraddha Walkar murder case, for the next 14 days. On the other hand, Aftab Poonawala has demanded some law books for studies. The court also directed the authorities to provide warm clothes to Aftab.
Aftab Poonawalla was accused of allegedly strangulating Shraddha Walkar, who was in a 'live-in relationship' with him, on May 18, 2022, cutting her body into 35 pieces and storing them in a 300-litre fridge at their Mehrauli residence in south Delhi for three weeks.
