Shraddha murder case: Accused Aftab will be produced in Saket court today

Aftab, the accused arrested in the Shraddha murder case, will be produced in the Saket court on Friday. Aftab is currently lodged in Ihad Jail and will be taken directly from there to appear before the court. For which the Tihar Jail Administration has prepared its third battalion. The accused will be taken to the court under the security of the third battalion.

Recently Aftab was attacked while bringing him from FSL office to Tihar Jail after polygraph test. After which now Delhi Police and Tihar Jail Administration are making special arrangements. In this case, the police had arrested 2 accused who were calling themselves Hindu Sena workers. Aftab is lodged in jail number 4. Aftab was asked by the jail administration to read an English novel of his choice. According to sources, Aftab will be given to read the novel 'The Great Railway Bazaar' in Tihar Jail.

According to sources, food is being served to Aftab only in the presence of the police. He is also on the radar of the officers day and night and a security guard is stationed outside his cell. Other inmates of Jail No. 4 have been kept separate for security reasons. Prison authorities have beefed up security at his barracks after a group of armed men recently attacked a police van carrying him.
