Shocking Triple Murder in South Delhi: Couple, Son Found Dead With Throat Slit

Shocking Triple Murder in South Delhi: Delhi Police has launched an investigation into a suspected triple murder in Maidangarhi area. As per prima facie findings, three members of a family were murdered.

The deceased have been identified as Prem Singh (45-50), his wife Rajani (40-45) and their 24 year old son Ritik. Their bodies were found late on Wednesday and a forensic team was called to the spot.

A PCR call was received at Maidan Garhi police station that “there was blood all over the house” in Satbari Khark Gaon. The caller was a passerby who saw the gate open, blood inside the premises and thought a youth had cut his hand with a knife.

"On reaching the spot, cops discovered two bodies lying in a pool of blood on the ground floor and another on the first floor," a senior police officer said.

FSL experts and district crime team were called in to inspect the scene. The area was sealed, evidence collected and the bodies were photographed before being sent for post-mortem.

Cops said evidence points to Siddharth’s involvement.

According to cops, after the crime he told someone he had "killed his family" and "would not live here anymore".

Locals also told police Siddharth was undergoing psychiatric treatment for some time. During the search of the house, cops found treatment documents and medicines allegedly belonging to him.

"Siddharth was receiving treatment from several mental health institutions over the past 12 years, the documents revealed. He suffered from obsessive-compulsive disorder and showed aggressive behaviour. From local inquiry, it was also revealed that he was not very fond of his family due to psychiatric issues," the officer said.

Prem Singh was employed in a private job and Rajani was a homemaker. Investigators are piecing together the sequence of events and the exact cause of death will be known after post-mortem report. Further investigation is on.
