After the Eknath Shinde faction in Shiv Sena, now the voices of rebellion are rising once again. This time the party's MPs are seen revolting. A new outline of rebellion is being prepared in New Delhi for Shiv Sena, which has been divided into Uddhav Thackeray and Eknath Shinde factions. According to information received from sources, Shiv Sena MPs are also now seen to be in opposition to the Uddhav Thackeray faction. In such a situation, the Uddhav Thackeray faction has put forward the name of the new whip chief of Shiv Sena amidst the possibilities of the MPs becoming rebels. Senior Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut on Wednesday wrote to the Lok Sabha Speaker informing them that the party has appointed Rajan Vichare as the new whip chief. Earlier this responsibility was with Bhavna Gawli.
A few days ago, more than 30 rebel Shiv Sena MLAs formed a new government in the state with the BJP under the leadership of Eknath Shinde. Before the formation of the new government, Shiv Sena was seen divided into factions of Uddhav Thackeray and Eknath Shinde. On one hand, where the then Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray had given an ultimatum to the rebel MLAs to come back to save his Maha Aghadi government, on the other hand, the Eknath Shinde faction had issued a statement expressing displeasure with Uddhav Thackeray.
The rebel MLAs had said during that time that Uddhav Thackeray has given more time to Congress and NCP than his MLAs. We no longer want to be with this alliance. Eknath Shinde had not only claimed to form a new government in the state with the rebels having a figure of more than two-thirds, but he had also staked his claim on the Shiv Sena party. The Eknath Shinde faction said that in a democracy everything is decided according to the majority.
