Shinde Slams Shiv Sena: 12 Shiv Sena MPs arrives in front of Lok Sabha Speaker, to visit Election Commission
Laying claim on Shiv Sena, Shinde has paraded 12 MPs to the Lok Sabha Speaker.

Before the hearing in the Supreme Court on the political crisis in Maharashtra, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde made a new bet. Laying claim on Shiv Sena, Shinde has paraded 12 MPs to the Lok Sabha Speaker. Shinde has claimed that he has the support of 18 out of 19 Shiv Sena MPs.
Here, Uddhav Thackeray has called a meeting in Mumbai. Senior party functionaries have been invited to this meeting. Along with this, instructions have also been sent to the municipal presidents to attend this meeting. Uddhav Thackeray resigned from the chief minister's post on June 29 following a rebellion by the MLAs.
All eyes are now on the hearing in the Supreme Court to be held on July 20 regarding the Maharashtra crisis. A bench of Chief Justice NV Ramana, Justices Krishna Murari, and Hema Kohli will hear the petitions of the Uddhav Thackeray-led camp and the Eknath Shinde camp. Shivsena's fight will get a new twist only after the Supreme Court's decision. 40 Shiv Sena MLAs and 13 MPs have split from the parent party (Uddhav's Shiv Sena). Rebel faction leader and Chief Minister Eknath Shinde have claimed on the basis of the number of MPs and MLAs that he has two-thirds of the people's representatives, so the real Shiv Sena is now his.
If the last meeting of the executive on June 21 is to be taken as the basis, then Uddhav has a majority of the executive, so it can be troublesome for the rebels. Party chief Uddhav Thackeray was re-elected in this meeting. Everyone had given Uddhav Thackeray the right to take party decisions. It was also decided in the meeting that no one else would use the name of Shiv Sena chief Balasaheb Thackeray.
