INDIA Bloc PM to Lead Unity Among Opposing Parties: Shashi Tharoor, Congress leader, believes that opposition parties will form an INDIA bloc coalition government after the Lok Sabha elections, regardless of how they campaign.
According to him, the people would have a Prime Minister who listens to others and is first among equals.
According to Tharoor, there is nothing to fear from a coalition government in an interview with PTI.
Under coalition governments, the Indian economy has performed better than under single-party governments.
Also, he defended the Congress' decision to skip Ayodhya's Ram temple 'pran pratishtha' ceremony, calling it a political platform for Modi's glorification.
"Given Mr Modi's style, the personality cult built around him, and the way the BJP has been ruling, I think it is fair to say that it (an INDIA bloc government) would be very unlike what we have seen in the last 10 years," he commented.
According to Tharoor, an INDIA bloc government would be unlike what has taken place under Modi's rule for the past 10 years.

Coalitions often come together after elections, and he believes that on June 4, all parties, including the Trinamool Congress, will work together to defeat the BJP.
In conclusion, he stated that there has been a "hubristic narrative" before the first phase has been completed.
