Senior BJP leader accused of running brothel, 73 arrested in raid
In the midst of all this, the police is looking at linking this case with the case registered in February. At the same time, Meghalaya BJP is sitting silent on this whole matter.

A big case of running a brothel in Meghalaya has come to the fore. According to the information being received from Meghalaya Police, state BJP vice-president Bernard Marak is also involved in this whole matter. Meghalaya Police has claimed that this racket has been busted after a raid at Marak's resort on Friday night. This resort belongs to Tura of West Garo hill districts. At present, the police have started searching for the accused leader by registering a case. However, in this entire case, 73 people have also been arrested by the police.
The police have also taken five children in their custody from the same resort on Saturday. The resort owners have been 'absconding' since the incident came to light. At the same time, Marak has also issued a statement regarding this incident. In this, he said that the police did this raid without any warrant. He has also accused the Meghalaya CM of targeting him.
