Security suddenly withdrawn from Rahul Gandhi's 'Bharat Jodo Yatra' in Kashmir

The Congress has alleged that security has been suddenly withdrawn from Rahul Gandhi's 'Bharat Jodo Yatra' in Kashmir. Rahul Gandhi himself also held a brief press conference and said, "Today, during the yatra, the police security system collapsed. After leaving the tunnel, the policemen were not seen. My security personnel said that we cannot go any further. I had to stop my yatra." Rest of the people were travelling. It is the responsibility of the administration to control the crowd."

Rahul Gandhi had to walk 11 kilometers on Friday, but he had to stop after walking hardly 500 meters. Congress leaders alleged that after reaching Qazigund, Rahul Gandhi started walking towards Vesu in South Kashmir as planned, but Congress workers suddenly found that the outer cordon of security (which was supposed to be managed by J&K Police) disappeared.
Earlier, the 'Bharat Jodo Yatra' proceeded from Banihal in Jammu and Kashmir this morning. During this, a large number of Congress workers and leaders holding the tricolor were seen marching with Rahul. Former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir and Vice President of National Conference (NC) Omar Abdullah also participated in Bharat Jodo Yatra in Banihal. Wearing a white T-shirt like Rahul, Umar along with thousands of Congress party supporters took part in the padayatra with Rahul.
