In view of the completion of large-scale vaccination of teachers and other staff and the decline in the third wave of Corona, the Center has asked the states to take a decision on opening schools. Sweety Changsan, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Education said that the guidelines have already been amended in this regard after consultations with the states. At the same time, Dr. VK Pal, member of NITI Aayog and head of the Task Force on Immunization, said that the Center only wants to ensure that the corona protocol is followed in the event of the school opening.
