SC rejects bail of two accused who attacked Owaisi, asked to surrender within a week

The Supreme Court has rejected the bail of two accused who attacked All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) President Asaduddin Owaisi. The Supreme Court has also asked him to surrender within a week. The Supreme Court has given this order while reversing the Allahabad High Court's decision to grant bail. In the CCTV footage against these two accused, there is evidence of attacking Owaisi's car at the toll plaza.
The Supreme Court said that the High Court has not given reasons in the decision to grant bail to both. Therefore, the High Court should hear the matter again. The matter should be reconsidered within four weeks of the surrender of the accused. In fact, during the UP elections on February 3, there was firing on AIMIM supremo and MP Asaduddin Owaisi. In which he had narrowly survived. Owaisi was returning from Meerut to Delhi after addressing a rally ahead of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly elections. Both the accused had opened fire on Owaisi's car which was stopped at a toll plaza. The incident was captured in the CCTV camera. His identity also became clear. At the same time, Owaisi had filed a petition in the Supreme Court against the High Court's decision to grant bail.
