In this case, Kapil Sibal, on behalf of the petitioner, said that something needs to be done in such cases. If the courts will not do anything, then only God can save this country. Earlier on Monday, the Supreme Court had granted bail to Jitendra Narayan Tyagi alias Waseem Rizvi in the case of allegedly making hate speeches at the Parliament of Religions held in Haridwar from December 17 to 19, 2021. A bench of Justice Ajay Rastogi and Justice BV Nagarathna granted bail to Waseem Rizvi with certain conditions. There is also a condition that he should not talk to electronic media. The bench said that the co-accused in the case has been granted bail and the police have filed a charge sheet after investigation.
