Along with this, it has been answered in detail by disclosing the objections of the Center. The collegium of CJI DY Chandrachud has taken this decision after deliberations for four days. Apart from the judges of the collegium, he also interacted with the future CJI. To respond to the Centre's stand, the Collegium headed by the CJI decided that this time the whole matter should be made public. Even the objections of the Centre, the reports of RAW and IB should also be cited in the recommendations of the collegium. Also, in such cases, the opinion of the Collegium should also be included in the recommendations.
According to sources, CJI DY Chandrachud was considering the recommendations of the Collegium for the last few days. It was decided to recommend the appointment of judges in the High Court and to repeat the names of other lawyers including Saurabh Kripal. On Wednesday, a long meeting was held in this regard between CJI, Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul and Justice KM Joseph. According to Supreme Court sources, before the court started on Thursday morning, the CJI also spoke to the future Chief Justices on this issue.
