Sawan Month 2022 : Sawan month started from today, special worship started in temples

The holy month of Sawan has started from today. There will be special worship in the temples throughout the month especially in Shiva temples. Kanwar Yatra will be taken out in many parts of the country. In states like Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Delhi, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh, preparations have been made at the administrative level for the Kanwar Yatra. Special security arrangements have been made. At the same time, it is make sure that the Kanwariyas should not face any kind of problem.

Special worship was held today at the famous Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. Pandit Mahesh Pujari of Mahakal Temple Committee told that the gates of Lord Mahakaleshwar were opened at 3 am on the first day of Shravan month. The Panchamrit bath of Lord Ganesha, Parvati, Kartik, Nandi and Lord Bholenath was completed. Bhasmarti was also enjoyed by the devotees.

Devotees arrive for worship on the first day of Shravan month at Aadya Katyayani Shaktipeeth Chhatarpur temple in the capital Delhi. Special worship of Lord Shiva will be done on the four Mondays in the month of Shravan. Along with this, Mangala Gauri Vrat will also be observed on every Tuesday for the happiness and good fortune of Mother Parvati.
