Satya Bharti Quality Support Program started in 24 government schools of Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir
Under the Satya Bharti Quality Support Programme, Bharti Foundation is presently providing support to 123 government schools including Army Goodwill School, which provides over 33 thousand students and over two thousand teachers in 14 districts of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh are being benefited.
Bharti Foundation, the community development arm of Bharti Enterprises, has launched its successful Satya Bharti Support Program in 24 government schools in Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir. More than 5300 students will benefit from this initiative of the institution. As part of this initiative, the Foundation has partnered with the School Education Department of Samba to enrich the educational experiences of the students and bring about an overall improvement in the performance of schools in the district. The program was inaugurated in the presence of Chief Education Officer of Samba District, Heads of Educational Institutions, Regional Education Officers and other officers of the district. The Foundation has identified the best experiences and most successful practices of its flagship program, Satya Bharti School, to run the program, develop them and implement them according to the needs of the schools of the district.

Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Anuradha Gupta, Deputy Commissioner, Samba said, “All round education is not limited to books. It is a comprehensive approach to prepare the children of the country as socially responsible citizens. Bharti Foundation has taken an initiative in this direction and we will extend full support to the Foundation to make this partnership successful in Samba district.
Satya Bharti Quality Support Program is an education initiative that helps government school students to learn the values and life skills needed to be successful in their lives. Through this program, Bharti Foundation is striving to raise the quality level of school education in collaboration with school principals, teachers, students and their families and communities. At present, 235,811 students and 9177 teachers from 691 government schools in 11 states/UTs of India are benefiting from this program. (*Data up to March 2022). Speaking on this partnership, Anil Bhat, Project Head, Bharti Foundation said, “We are excited to launch the program in Samba. There are plans to expand this program to other districts including Rajouri of Jammu division. Satya Bharti Quality Support Program is a progressive effort under which the emphasis is on all round development of the students and enhancing the quality of their overall educational experience by incorporating the latest technologies and methodologies as per the need. In this sequence, Bharti Foundation is striving to re-awaken the education in government schools for innovation.
