Saraswati gives knowledge to all, doesn't differentiate: Rahul Gandhi on Hijab Row in Karnataka

On the occasion of Basant Panchmi and Sarswati Puja (Goddess of Knowledge), Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has raised the issue of the hijab controversy in a college in Karnataka.
The college administration of Bhandarkar's Arts and Science Degree College in Kundapur has refused permission to women who came to college wearing hijab.
Rahul Gandhi took to his Twitter handle and suggested that by taking this kind of decision, the country is robbing the future of the daughters of India.
“By letting students' hijab come in the way of their education, we are robbing the future of the daughters of India. Ma Saraswati gives knowledge to all. She doesn't differentiate," Rahul Gandhi said in his tweet.
The Karnataka BJP responded to his tweet and accused him of communalising education. The Karnataka BJP also called him dangerous to the future of India.
It tweeted, "By communalising education, CONgress co-owner Rahul Gandhi has once again proved that he is dangerous to the future of India. If hijab is very much essential to get educated, why doesn't Rahul Gandhi make it mandatory in states ruled by CONgress?"
The whole issue has snowballed into a huge controversy now and the students are unable to attend their classes. The college says that according to their norm "Girl students are permitted to wear the scarf inside the campus, however, the colour of the scarf should match with the dupatta, and no student is allowed to wear any other cloth inside the campus including the college canteen".
