According to the information, the last rites of Dalbir Kaur will be performed today in Bhikhiwind, Punjab. Sarabjit was convicted by a Pakistani court on charges of terrorism and espionage and in the year 1991, Sarabjit was sentenced to death. However, in 2008, the government indefinitely stayed Sarabjit's execution.
After which Sarabjit was killed by the prisoners in 2013. Sarabjit had claimed in Pakistan that he is a farmer and he has a house near the border. At the same time, Sarabjit told the reason behind this that he has come to the border of Pakistan due to wandering, but despite this Sarabjit was arrested. After which Sarabjit was sentenced to death.
Sarabjit Singh's sister Dalbir Kaur joined the Bharatiya Janata Party in December 2016. On the other hand, Dalbir Kaur came close to the BJP in 2005 when she was struggling to get her brother out of jail.
