Sanjay Dutt, through a tweet, mentioned an emotional letter for his late mother and the veteran actress Nargis, on her 39th Death Anniversary. Along with the heart-wrenching lines, Dutt shared some of the most iconic and timeless pictures of the actress. Nargis, who is heralded as one greatest actresses in the history of Indian cinema, made her screen debut in a minor role at the age of five with Talash-E-Haq,

He wrote, "Not a single moment goes by when I don’t remember you. Ma, you were the basis of my life and the strength of my soul. I wish my wife and kids would have met you for you to give them all your love and blessings. I miss you today and every day!" Nargis died in 1981 after battling pancreatic cancer. A couple of days after her death, Sanjay Dutt's debut film Rocky was released in theatres.
