Starting today, Superstar Salman Khan is shooting for his extended cameo in Shah Rukh Khan's next, action-thriller ‘Pathan’.
‘Pathan’ is highly anticipated and has been billed as ‘the special movie’ as it marks the comeback of Shah Rukh Khan after a hiatus of more than 2 years after 2018 released ‘Zero’.
Information release on the movie is low and slow – even the poster is not yet made public. Sources are indicating that “an unconventional route will be taken to make the announcement with a special video, soon” rather than releasing a poster or just a teaser.
Under the banner of Yash Raj Films (YRF), ‘Pathan’ is being directed by Siddharth Anand. Apart from Shah Rukh Khan it stars Deepika Padukone, Dimple Kapadia and John Abraham.
The film also features, superstar Salman Khan and Hrithik Roshan, who will be seen playing cameos in Pathan. While Salman will be seen playing role of ‘Tiger’, Hrithik will reportedly play the character of ‘Kabir’ from the movie ‘War’.
There is a sizeable part of the shooting which happened in Dubai recently and fans are drolling in anticipation of how the action scene atop Burj Khalifa has been captured on celluloid.
Earlier, Salman Khan had made a cameo in two of Shah Rukh Khan’s films including ‘Zero’ and ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’. Shah Rukh Khan too had returned the favour in ‘Tubelight’ (2017) and ‘Har Dil Jo Pyar Karega’ (2000), both of which had Salman as the leading actor.
Earlier this month, Salman Khan revealing his line-up of work said, "Life goes on, show goes on. When this show (Bigg Boss) ends, will move to Pathan, then Tiger (3) and later to Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali."
