Salman Khan’s Security Heightened, SRPF Deployed After Baba Siddique Murder in Mumbai

Salman Khan’s Security Heightened: After Baba Siddiqui’s murder, Salman Khan’s security has been beefed up. The murder has sent shockwaves in political circles and Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang has been linked to the crime. Two people from Haryana and UP have been arrested in connection with the murder. According to sources, the killers had been in Mumbai for a few months, doing recce on Baba Siddiqui’s locations. Initial investigations suggest that the murder was also because of Siddiqui’s closeness to Salman Khan among other things.

While the state government is yet to confirm this, they say Salman Khan already has enough security. In response to the threat, Mumbai Police has now deployed an escort vehicle to follow his official car and SRPF is stationed outside his Bandra and Panvel houses.

Besides that, Salman Khan’s Panvel farmhouse was fortified by Navi Mumbai police yesterday. He has been given Y-plus security which means a police escort vehicle will travel with him and a trained constable who can handle all weapons will accompany him all the time.

Salman Khan has been a target of Lawrence Bishnoi gang and had received threats from them. Earlier this year, some of the gang members were arrested for firing shots outside his Mumbai residence.

According to officials, more personnel from security wing of Mumbai Police have been deployed at strategic points near his house. Armed officers and plainclothes officers will be protecting Salman Khan who has not made any statement on this yet. Though the investigation into Siddique’s murder is in its initial stages, the shooting has put a shadow on Salman Khan and we can only hope that the authorities take all necessary measures to protect him.

Three people have been arrested from Lawrence Bishnoi gang for Baba Siddiqui’s murder on Saturday night. The third arrest was made in Pune when Praveen Lonkar, brother of gang member Shubham Lonkar, took responsibility for the murder by posting on Facebook.

NCP leader Baba Siddiqui was shot outside his son MLA Zeeshan Siddiqui’s office in Bandra East on Saturday night. He was taken to Lilavati Hospital but was declared dead. Investigations showed that the attackers had been doing recce of the area for 25-30 days before the attack.
