Russia-Ukraine war between G-7 summit ends: Resolved to carry out economic sanctions

The summit of the G-7, a grouping of the world's most powerful countries, ended in Germany on Tuesday. In this, it was resolved to carry out serious and economic sanctions to Russia responsible for the attack on Ukraine. The leaders discussed everything from Russian attacks, the global economic crisis, vaccines, inflation to the climate crisis.

Russia has banned 25 other Americans, including Jill Biden and daughter of US President Joe Biden. In a note issued by the Russian Foreign Ministry, it was said that this step has been taken after the continuous bans against Russian political and public figures. In the note, 25 US citizens have been added to the stop list.

The list includes several US senators, including Susan Collins of Maine, Mitch McConnell of Kentucky, Charles Grassley of Iowa, Kirsten Gillibrand of New York. It also includes many university professors and researchers and former US government officials.

It has been more than four months since the Russia-Ukraine war, but no result seems to be coming. Meanwhile, US President Joe Biden has supported Finland and Sweden joining NATO. Biden said that both the country's army and its democracy are strong.

In addition to a ban on gold imports from Russia, a $600 billion infrastructure plan was announced to compete with China's Belt and Road Initiative. It has been named the Partnership for Global Infrastructure and Investment (PGII). It is also being called Build Back Better World.
