Russia Plane Crash: Debris Of Missing Russian Plane Found In Eastern Amur Region
The An-24 plane belonging to the Angara Airlines disappeared a few minutes before landing at a remote town of Tynda located along the Chinese-Russia border. Its debris occurred in eastern Amur.

Russia Plane Crash: In the far east, a passenger plane in which there were almost 50 people disappeared in Russia on Thursday. IFAX reported that the plane debris was discovered in eastern Amur region and the local reports indicated that there were no survivors.
Early information was quoted by Reuters as the Russian authorities reporting that Russian emergency services could not rule out death of everyone on the plane. A formal confirmation on the same was however awaited.
The plane was passenger An-24 and was owned by an airline based in Siberia named Angara.

It was on its way to the Our town of Tynda in the region of Amur that has limits with China.
A helicopter had seen the plane including the burning fuselage on the ground, and rescue crews were dashing to the rescue.
According to Reuters, the local emergencies ministry said that the plane had left the radar screens of the air traffic controller in the process of landing in its destination, that was Tynda, which is a town situated in the Amur region that borders China.
Reuters cited a statement to regional governor Vasily Orlov as saying it appears there were 43 passengers, including 5 children, and 6 crewmembers on board as of preliminary data.
The aircraft was trying to land at Tynda airport a second time when it crashed, Russia the Far Eastern Transport Prosecutor office said.
“While approaching Tynda Airport, the aircraft went around for a second landing, after which contact was lost," it said.
“The circumstances are being investigated," it said.
As stated by the state TASS news agency, the plane was created nearly five decades earlier.
“In 2021, the aircraft’s airworthiness certificate was extended until 2036," it reported, citing a source in aviation services.
The Antonov-24 is one of the favorite, Soviet developed twin-propeller aircraft that gained its place of service in the year 1959.
In recent years, Russia has made efforts to optimize its fleet of Soviet aircraft by replacing it with new and modern jets but in regional areas far flung planes that are very old, remain the main source of air transport and accidents continue to be a regular occurrence.
An AeroMexico regional jet almost crashed into a Delta Air Lines Boeing 737 jet on the runway in Mexico city on Monday.
The collision occurred during landing of an AeroMexico aircraft and it overshot and landed in front of a Delta Air Lines Boeing 737 jet that was already starting to pull off the ground.
On July 21, a training aircraft of of the Bangladesh Air Force F-7 BGI crashed into a school-campus in the north of Dhaka, Uttara, soon after take off.
According to local media, no fewer than 27 people have been killed in the incident with 78 other people wounded.
Out of the dead there were 25 children including those below 12 years of age who had severe burns.
