Robert Vadra’s ‘Muslims Feeling Weakened’ Remark on Pahalgam Attack Sparks Political Row; BJP Reacts Strongly
The controversy over the Pahalgam terror attack in which Robert Vadra claimed, 'Muslims are feeling very weak' has sparked some rage within the BJP as well.

Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra's husband, businessman Robert Vadra, weighed in today on reports stating that the terrorists responsible for the Pahalgam attack had first checked the identities of their victims before slaughtering them. "They have done this because they want to send a message to Prime Minister Modi that 'Muslims are feeling weakened'," he said.
He added an explanation as to why terrorists are checking IDs and killing depending on their head religious identity as follows: “There is a divide that has come in our country between Hindus and Muslims".

The outcome of remarks from this top politician will definitely cause uproars even while the whole nation is mourning the 26 murderers from the latest terror attacks in Pahalgam's Baisaran Meadows on Tuesday afternoon. The BJP blasted Vadra, accusing him of covering the terrorists.
Vadra ended up fuelling controversy saying, "Divide that has come" between Hindus and Muslims in India made terrorists check the ID at the time of killing their victims.
He said even further that the act of terrorists has a message for PM Modi stating, "Muslims are feeling weakened".
I feel terrible, and my deepest condolences are for the people who have died in this terrorist act…In our country, we see that this government will talk about Hindutva, and the minorities feel uncomfortable and troubled…If you dissect this terrorist act that took place, if they (terrorists) are looking at people’s identity, why are they doing this? Because there’s a divide that has come about in our country with Hindus and Muslims," Vadra said.
“This will make these kinds of organisations feel that Hindus are making a problem for all the Muslims. Looking at identities and then killing somebody, that’s a message to the PM, because Muslims are feeling weakened. The minorities are feeling weakened…This has to be coming from the top that we feel secure and secular in our country, and we will not see this kind of act happening," he added.

BJP Slams Congress Over Robert Vadra’s Remarks
Amit Malviya, a BJP leader, lashed out at Vadra's statements saying he "defended an act of terror and offered cover to the terrorists".
“Shocking! Sonia Gandhi’s son-in-law Robert Vadra shamelessly defends an act of terror, offering cover to the terrorists instead of condemning them. He doesn’t stop there, instead, shifts the blame onto India for the atrocities committed by Pakistani terrorists," he said.
BJP MP Nishikant Dubey, who made headlines recently for his comments against the Supreme Court, attacked Vadra for his statements and called it "this very mindset of the Congress that has sown the seeds of hatred in the country".
“Even in this moment of grief, the Gandhi family only sees Muslims. It is this very mindset of the Congress that has sown the seeds of hatred in the country. India is united from Kashmir to Kanyakumari because of Sanatan Dharma. Under the leadership of our Hon’ble Prime Minister, India is strong and will continue to succeed. Terrorists and those who support them will be eliminated. Enemies sitting outside India, and those within the country who try to provoke Muslims, will be destroyed. Jai Shiv," he posted on X.
