Restaurants and dhabas will remain open day and night in Himachal Pradesh till January 2.
The Chief Minister said that this decision has been taken by the state government keeping in mind the convenience of the tourists coming to the state in this tourism season.

The Himachal Pradesh government has decided to keep restaurants, dhabas, tea and other food shops open day and night till January 2, 2023, keeping in mind the convenience of the tourists coming to the state. Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu has taken this decision on the request of Shimla MLA Harish Janartha, Manali MLA Bhubaneswar Gaur and Kasauli MLA Vinod Sultanpuri. The Chief Minister said that this decision has been taken by the state government keeping in mind the convenience of the tourists coming to the state in this tourism season.
He said that the state government may consider continuing this system even further, although the concerned institutions will have to cooperate in maintaining law and order. Keeping in mind the worsening situation of Covid-19 in the neighboring countries, the Chief Minister has also urged the tourists coming here to follow all the precautions related to Covid-19.
