Relief to expelled BJP leader Naveen Jindal, all cases will be transferred to Delhi
The Supreme Court has also allowed Naveen Jindal to move the Delhi High Court to quash the FIR registered against him. The court said that all further cases will also be sent to Delhi Police for investigation.
Naveen Kumar Jindal, who was expelled from the BJP for his controversial remarks on Prophet Mohammad, has got relief. The Supreme Court has ordered transfer of all FIRs filed against Naveen Jindal to Delhi Police. A bench of Justices MR Shah and MM Sundaresh also granted interim protection to Naveen Jindal till the completion of investigation by the Delhi Police.

During the hearing on the matter, the bench said, "All the cases will be transferred to the IFSO unit of Delhi Police." No preliminary action or FIR will be filed against the accused for 8 weeks to enable him to make a proper argument before the Delhi High Court.
