Reddit User Calls Indians in US ‘Impatient and Rude: Really interesting discussion started on Reddit about how Indian customers behave in the U.S., especially by one such user claiming that they usually are “impatient, rude and demanding.” In r/AskIndia, the post describes an experience by the user who had the opportunity to work in customer service dealing with Indian-born customers.
“I work customer service, and any Indian I come in contact with, they are impatient, rude, demanding, and treat me like I’m stupid even though I’m in college,” the user wrote. He further claimed that these customers “think they can walk all over the staff and demand free crap.”

The Redditor cited a particular incident where he struggled to understand an accent from a customer while he was taking an order. “Like one instance, I was taking an Indian guy’s order and asked him to repeat himself ‘cause I couldn’t understand through his thick accent. He gets mad, rolls his eyes, and says, ‘No wonder you work here.’” The user, offended by the remark, responded, “EXCUSE ME??? I work at a café, and by the way, once again, it’s a part-time job while I finish college, so buddy, don’t come at me like that.”
The post caught fire and people had mixed views about it. Many sympathise with the Redditor's frustration while others argue that blanket statements can't be made for an entire group just because of individu.

Another wrote, “Some of them have a deep inferiority complex. So when they become rich, they let out their frustration and anger.”
