Ratan Tata announces to invest in Goodfellows startup, will help the elderly living alone
Under the business model of Goodfellows, the elderly will get the first month completely free. After this, a small membership charge will be levied from the second month, which has been decided on the basis of pension of the elderly. The good thing is that along with serving the elderly, many young people will also get an opportunity to internship with Goodfellows.

The country's well-known industrialist Ratan Tata on Tuesday announced to invest in a startup Goodfellows. This is the first Companionship Startup for Senior Citizens of the country. The aim of this startup is to help the elderly living alone through youth and educated graduates.
'Goodfellows' has been a huge success in the last 6 months and will soon be available in Mumbai, Pune, Chennai and Bangalore as well. The main focus of Goodfellows is the elderly of the country who live alone. About 50 million elderly people in India are alone in their lives. There are many among them, who lost their life partner due to some reason and the relatives of many elderly people started living in other places, so they are living a life of loneliness.

This is the same Shantanu, whose video with Ratan Tata went viral. In this video, Ratan Tata was sitting on a chair and a small cupcake was placed in front of him. After this, Shantanu also placed his hand on Tata's shoulder and fed him a cake. Shantanu has studied at Cornell University and he is the Deputy General Manager in Tata's office. He has been helping Tata since the year 2018. Tata had also once praised Naidu and said that unless you are really old, nobody feels like getting old. Naidu described Tata as a boss, friend and mentor during this period.
