Ramcharitmanas Controversy : Zero FIR registered against Swami Paramhans
The advocates sitting in the office premises of District Panchayati Raj Officer have decided not to work in other administrative courts including DM's court. In this regard, the advocates have also given a letter to the District Lawyers Association, requesting the association to pass a decision in this regard.

In the controversy related to Ramcharit Manas, a case has been filed in the court on the controversial statement of education minister Chandrashekhar on behalf of Jagatguru Swami Paramhans Maharaj for biting his tongue. Jagdish Paswan, a resident of Gopalpur Bahadurpur of Industrial Police Station area, has alleged in the case that the statement of Paramhans Maharaj is going to create caste hatred and fear.

It may be known that instructions have been given by the DM to sit in the premises and remove their seats. In protest against which the advocates have requested the DBA General Secretary and other office bearers to pass a decision not to work. Union President Jaykaran Gupta, General Secretary Vimal Kumar Vimal, Viresh Prasad Mishra, Omprakash Tiwari, Bhola Kumar Mandal, Mukti Prasad Singh, Jayprakash Yadav Vyas, Manjar Alam, Virendra Kumar Pandey, Arunabh Shekhar, Vandana Kumari, Anita Kumari, Renu Kumari Ghosh etc. have expressed condolences.
