Rajya Sabha Election 2022 will be held on 30th May
Congress and BSP will have to bear the brunt of the poor performance in the recently held assembly elections in this time's Rajya Sabha elections. BSP currently had 2 and Congress had 1 seat, but this time 2 of these three seats can go to BJP.

Voting for 57 seats of Rajya Sabha is to be held on June 10. Along with this, due to the resignation of the MPs, by-elections are to be held on 30 May on one seat in Telangana and one Rajya Sabha seat in Odisha on June 13. In this way, if seen in total, 59 seats of Rajya Sabha in 15 states are to be voted in the coming days.
Voting is to be held in the coming days for 59 Rajya Sabha seats in 15 states. Out of these 59 seats, BJP currently has 25 seats. On the other hand, if we talk about its allies, last time there were 2 seats in JDU's account and 3 seats in AIADMK's account. Similarly, if one Independent MP (MP) is added, at present 31 out of these 59 seats are with the NDA.
Saving these 31 seats in the elections is a big challenge for the NDA. Because the mathematics of the results of the Legislative Assemblies elections is telling that this time the NDA may have to suffer a loss of 7 to 9 seats. On the other hand, talking about the UPA, its total number reaches 13, including 8 MPs of Congress, 3 of DMK, one each from Shiv Sena and NCP. In this time's Rajya Sabha elections, the UPA seems to be gaining 2 to 4 seats.
